HOLLIDAYSBURG – The Blair County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:00 pm TUESDAY, July 18, 2023 at the Roller Hojeth Memorial Library, 431 Scotch Valley Rd.  Hollidaysburg, PA. Please note this meeting will be held on Tuesday instead of our normal Thursday meeting. 

Mary Kircher Roddy, of the National Genealogical Society, will be our July speaker. The title of her program is “The Hub of the Wheel: How tracing a brother with no children connected ten siblings.” The talk focuses on the Rev. James Bradley who served as Pastor in Newry, PA from 1832-1883.  He is Ms. Roddy’s 2x great grandfather. 

Mary Kircher Roddy is a co-editor for the National Genealogical Society. She speaks at conferences, genealogy societies, and libraries across the U.S.

All presentations are free and open to the public. The building is handicap accessible. Donations are gratefully accepted.
